Environment

We provide an environment where children are free to move, play and explore safely. Our equipment has been supplied by reputable suppliers who have created every item with the needs of children in mind. Our play environments are designed to deliver the high-quality standard parents expect for their children.

The Library
Using the Letterland phonetic program, coupled with the Collins Big Cat Reading Scheme and Oxford Reading Scheme we aim to encourage children to fulfil their language potential in a way which is fun, exciting, inviting and memorable.

Classrooms
The classrooms are large; there is plenty of room for the variety of activities including circle time, theme corner, home corner, role play areas, reading corner and much much more.

The Children’s’ Kitchen
Since children learn through fun, we have a dedicated kitchen for the ‘cookery classes’ where children can learn to bond with parents better as they can become helpers in their home kitchens. Parents can await our cooked items to be sent home soon! All cooking classes are fully supervised by teachers and the food preparation will be mainly cold cooking.

Indoor Play area
Our indoor area encourages children to develop good gross motor skills, and allows gross motor activities to continue even during the hot weather we experience here in Dubai.

Outdoor Play Centres
The shade area outside is equipped with UV protection, yet allows for good circulation of air and provides enough space for children to move around and enjoy fresh air. We have two large pieces of outdoor play equipment for your children to explore.

Play Garden
Greenery covers one third of the total size of the premises, to allow oxygen circulation and a healthy view. The same will be maintained by a gardener on daily basis after working hours to eliminate disturbance during the working hours.

Children’s’ Garden
Little scholars Academy inspires its children by showing them what can they achieve. In their garden they can see their own planted flowers grow to build their imagination and their concentration span in a fun way.

The Chef’s Kitchen

The chef will be kept fully aware of any possible allergies that the enrolled children may have. Food gloves will be used to serve cooked food, and hair nets will be worn to prevent hair from falling into the cooked food. The LSA kitchen is certified Halaal.

Art Room
The art room has been set up to inspire your child's imagination and self-expression with a world of hands-on art activities. Through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, dramatic play and more, our classes encourage confidence and support artistic potential. Children will be encouraged to explore different mediums, styles, and encouraged to use their imaginations to create unique artwork.

LSA Clinic
Our nurse is located in the lobby area of LSA and will communicate any concerns over the child’s health or well-being and we encourage parents to consult with her likewise. All children will be weighed and measured every month and feedback given to parents. The nurse will co-ordinate the academy’s licensed paediatrician’s visits.
The nurse will also be dedicated to promoting positive lifestyle habits to the children under our care at LSA through education and practice.

Music Room
Music is a way of knowing.
According to Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner (1983), music intelligence is equal in importance to logical - mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, spatial intelligence, bodily - kinaesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence. This room is a true fun learning, with its walls having musical instruments painted on it!
